Google TV

Google and Dish Network, according to U.S. satellite television operator, are working on a research service of television programs reported by the Wall Street Journal, quoting sources familiar with the matter. According to what the Journal reported the service – still is in the testing phase – is designed for devices with TV decoder based on Android, the OS giant’s Mountain View, and allows users to search content on Dish and other sites like YouTube to creating a custom programming.

Google’s goal would be to tie the new service to commercials on TV so they can be addressed to individual devices based on user data and thus offer increasingly targeted, personalized commercials. 3D TVs
